Muralikrishnan B Promoted As New Xiaomi India President, Replaces Manu Kumar Jain

The company Xiaomi India is officially announced the fact that Muralikrishnan B is now the new Xiaomi India President, taking the reins of Manu Kumar Jain who is now the head of the global division of Xiaomi. Muralikrishnan B will be in charge of his new job starting on 1 August.

He has been COO (COO) of Xiaomi India since 2018, However, in recent years He is the most prominent participant at events for launch as well as speaking to the media.

“Muralikrishnan is responsible for the day-to-day operations, services strategic initiatives, public affairs as well as continuing to strengthen the company’s commitment to making India a better place through the Make in India’ and Digital India’ initiative” the company stated in an announcement.

Muralikrishnan is a graduate of IIM-Calcutta. He has an extensive background of more than 25 years working in the realm of consumer tech. He is credited with the growth of Xiaomi’s offline operations, sales, and service and more.

Manu Kumar Jain was the preferred Xiaomi chief in India for a long time. He assumed the role following Hugo Barra left for newer opportunities. Since the time, Jain has been the pivotal figure in the rise of the company, allowing it becoming the top brand across a variety of categories. However, since his transfer in the direction of the worldwide team Xiaomi have made number of changes to its management of India.

It named Alvin Tse as General Manager in the month of September. Anuj Sharma was returned to the fold in the role of Chief Marketing Officer of the business. “They have been running the India business with a fair amount of autonomy and will remain an integral driver for the company’s brand,”” it stated in an announcement.
